Under ISO 14065, this is a Project Expert who is independently contracted to operate as part of a confirmation team under the supervision of a confirmation body on specific confirmation activities. The contracted project expert is not a full-time employee of said confirmation body, but acts as the confirmation body’s agent and representative while under contract. The use of contracted project expert under such agreements does not constitute outsourcing.
