An informal enforcement action taken by ADEQ which documents the factual nature of an environmental violation, the legal authority regarding compliance, a description of what constitutes compliance and how it is to be documented and a time frame in which ADEQ expects compliance to be achieved. NOCs are issued for violations considered to pose less environmental risk than NOV violations.
