A two- to three- day assessment at the site of the confirmation body’s main office(s) that is conducted by the accreditation body (ANSI). The purpose of the onsite assessment is to confirm whether the operational capability of the confirmation body conforms to ISO 14065, ISO 14064- 3, IAF MD 6, and other accreditation requirements, including those for specific GHG programs/registries and/or activities in specific sectors. This assessment provides assurance that the confirmation body has the capacity to perform the activities related to the scopes of accreditation for which it has applied.
